Your tummy is getting bigger Mommy!

We have bought a book for you to follow along what is happening in my tummy and with babies' development. The other day in the bath you were just too cute.... you covered your self in soap so that you were all white... and then you said... "look mommy I look like the baby in your tummy!!

Venus Fly Catcher!!

You enjoy growing things.... and are looking forward to next week when we can plant your veggy seeds pack we bought a few months ago....
However,we recently bought this Venus Fly trap, as you had seen one ages ago, and have remembered it ever since.... when we saw this one at the shops recently you just couldn't leave it alone... so we bought it for you....

it's been almost a month now, and not only is it still alive... but it has a big long stem thingy growing out of it...!!! not tooooo sure what it is... but you giggle when I tell you it's going to grow into a giant fly on a stalk!!!

I hope my child looks back on today....
And sees a parent who had time to play...
There will be years for cleaning and cooking
but children grow up when you're not looking
So settle down cobwebs - dust go to sleep
I'm cuddling my baby....
because babies don't keep!

Mothers Day

What a lovely Mothers day I had... A beautiful card, breakfast and tea in bed, and this wonderful bookmark that you made at school!!

At the back of the bookmark was this.....


Yes... you can now write your own name! Without any help!!! WOW...!!! how fast are YOU growing up????

We had such a lovely day.. we went to the movies to see Surfs Up.. then back home for daddy's roast chicken dinner! Then you and daddy went over to the common with your football for a kickabout.. leaving mommy to watch her favourite tv programme.. uninterrupted...
