I wish that we had thought to do this little sooner... however, at three years old, i'm sure there is still so much we can contribute. There are so many things Kyle does, and so many cute phrases and words he comes out with, that we wanted a place to store it all, so that in times to come, we can relive them when we take a stroll back through memory lane. We hope you enjoy reading them too.....

Kyles Pre-school Report

We are coming to the end of a chapter - and the start of a new one! only a couple more weeks of pre-school, then it's the summer holidays, and the start of Big School on the 5th September.

Yesterday we got your transfer records from your pre-school, and we are so proud of how well you have done during the time you have been there!

Here are some pages from your transfer record booklet....
(Kyle has been a pleasure to work with, he is happy to initiate conversations with both adult and peers. Kyle had a really good memory and it's lovely to hear him recall in great detail, events that he has seen or participated in. Kyle is eager to learn and he has ben making good progress in all areas of the E.L.G. I will miss Kyle in my keygroup and wish him lots of luck.... Debbie Smith) This is a picture of the leaning tower of Pisa. The note attached from your teacher says: 03.06.08 - Kyle tells me that he went on a boat to Italy. The boat had a swimming pool and he said he saw the leaning tower of Pisa. Gramps came on the boat. This photo has a note attached that reads: 5-01-08: Kyle is able to follow instructions on computer programme to complete the activity. He shows very good control of the mouse. Kyle is able to click and drag puzzle pieces on a computer programme to form the correct picture. he concentrates well and follows instructions well all unaided.
Here you are using programmable toys:
And in this picture the note says: Feb 08 - Kyle knows how to use a knife and fork. We made our own pancakes and then ate them... Yum Yum!!
WELL DONE!!! We can't believe our little boy is growing up so quickly!!!

The Day started off with a parachute warm up - the weather was lovely and it was held in the playing field just outside your pre-school. Then the races began, starting with the egg and spoon race.. Just look how determined you are!!!
You also put your big booming voice to good use... shouting encouragement to your team mates... even Molly - who was on the other team!!! Then it was the hoop relay race....Ending off with the Blue team race! i love this pic of you lined up on the starting line showing your friend Jay how FAST you are going to run and didn't you do just that??? Here you are....WINNING your race!!! Mummy was shouting and jumping up and down - so so proud!! I almost went into labour!!!

I Love My Daddy!

We headed out to Queen Victoria Park for a picnic on Fathers Day.... and it turned into a real "boys" day, with Kyle showing daddy how to make an aeroplane....
Which was then thrown around the park....Followed by some football.....
And then a picnic under the trees....
Before climbing them... of course!

Mommy, i'm going to be an artist!

You are so cute, and funny - every week you decide what you're going to be when you're bigger. You have already planned that when Daddy is bigger, he's going to be a firefighter!! The week before last you were going to be a Vet so that you could take care of Finn when he's sick. Last week when we went to the beach you decided you would like to be an ice cream truck driver, and this week you want to be an artist!

And what a good little artist you are!!

This picture is one that you drew for me at school - it's a picture of mommy with lots and lots of hearts around her, and you told me that's because you love me!! Aaah....!

And this picture is just the best... it's the front of our house (not sure why our house has arms...!? ) with the front window with the blinds, Finn looking through the window and our car parked out the front! Brilliant!!
