I wish that we had thought to do this little sooner... however, at three years old, i'm sure there is still so much we can contribute. There are so many things Kyle does, and so many cute phrases and words he comes out with, that we wanted a place to store it all, so that in times to come, we can relive them when we take a stroll back through memory lane. We hope you enjoy reading them too.....

All grown up!!

Well, you've turned five, and it feels like overnight you have grown into a young man!!!
Your reading is phenominal, it seems to have opened up a whole new exciting world for you, and you are rarely seen without your nose in some or other book. You are the first in your class to advance to orange level (which is the level for most Year 2 children), and you are forever getting around your dad to buy you a new book!! apparently i've been informed that you have been promised another this weekend!!! I bought you FIVE two weekends ago, but you're already bored with those!!!

Here are some pics I snapped of you recently. Even at the church tent event, you were happier to sit reading friends with frakenstein, instead of helping mom run her cake icing table.

You are loving the fact that Adam is becoming more of a playmate. He is on the move and you and him chase each other on all fours around the house... He copies everything you do, as he seems to idolize his big brother.... for example, when you have an ice lolly, Adam has to have one, and he watches you eat it and copies you. It's lovely to watch, and I think it makes you feel very important.

You are riding your bike without stabilizers, and this weekend you and dad went out into the common on your bikes!! the sun was shining and it looked so lovely to see you bombing along next to your dad, the sea in the background!

Oh, you love to wear daddy's aftershave to school, after you've gelled your hair of course... and I think we've figured out the reason why.....

This is what we spotted written on the whiteboard in your room!!! Lois is a little girl in your class!!
I must admit. It did make us smile!!!
